Tennis was one of the early adopters of an anti-doping program in the 1990s, but the perception lingers that the sport is not attacking the threat aggressively enough. It’s time for more money and resources. It’s time for more blood testing — costly or not — in and out of competition; time to adopt the biological passport used in cycling and track and field to monitor baseline levels."
